All of these image sizes have been added to the HTML because they are smaller versions of the image with the same aspect ratio as the large image. What we see in the markup is our large image (992px) being displayed for desktops, the medium large image (728px) automatically created by WordPress, our medium image (480px) and our thumbnail image (320px). The ‘large’ size has been selected to be used, which is 992px. Here we have a container of 992px with an image inside of it. Similar to the post editor, when adding images from the image library with the image component, Oxygen will automatically attempt to add SRCSET images to the markup for us. This means smaller devices only download smaller images. The browser can then determine which is the best size to use, depending on what device the user is on. Any smaller versions of the image found with the same aspect ratio will also automatically be added into HTML for us. When an image is added to the content of a post or page, we choose the biggest size needed depending on the container size. These sizes can all be customised from the media settings and we can also add as new, custom sizes (explained at the end of the post). When you add images to the media library WordPress automatically generates multiple copies of that same image at different sizes, Large, Medium-Large, Medium & Thumbnail. There are lots of resources explaining how these SRCSET image sizes work in general, but here’s a very simple overview of how it specifically works in WordPress… Responsive Images were added natively to WordPress a few years back & support was added for them in the Image component in Oxygen in v2.2.

Each note in the arpeggio will be the length you’ve selected for the time division setting for example, if you select 1/4, each note in the arpeggio will be a quarter note.
The arpeggiator’s timing and rhythm is based on the keyboard’s time division setting and either the keyboard’s or your DAW’s tempo setting. When the Arpeggiator is activated, the keyboard will repeatedly play the pressed keys in sequence. The built-in Arpeggiator will affect anything you are playing on the keys from any virtual instrument in your DAW. If you choose Latch, pressing any pad will cause its assigned note to repeat without you having to hold down the Note Repeat button. If you choose Momentary, holding the Note Repeat button will make the note played by the pad automatically repeat. The Note Repeat feature can be activated momentarily or can be used in Latch mode. Note Repeat allows you to hold down any of the custom-made M-Audio performance pads and you’ll hear a repeated rhythmic pattern at a selectable note division. Note Repeat and the built-in Arpeggiator open up a world of precise music production and live sound techniques to make your music sound professional.

Smart Scale is easy to activate and deactivate and allows you to set the scale parameters you need to keep you focused on creating. You can choose from 16 different scale variations when assigning a scale to the keyboard. This allows you to play within a chosen scale without the risk of playing any “wrong” notes. With Smart Scale, you can set the key bed so that only notes in the selected scale are able to be played. The Oxygen Pro 49 also features intelligent Smart Scale technology. The note of the key you press will serve as the root of the chord and all of the parameters can be edited right on the Oxygen Pro 49! For example, if you select Custom Mode, and play a 1-b3-5-b7 chord, every key will then be assigned to play this chord structure. Smart Chord also has a Custom Mode which lets you to determine the chord structure that will be assigned to each key by manually playing it.
The rest of the chord’s properties (Major, Minor, and Voicing – 1,3,5 1,3,7 1,3,5,7, etc.) are determined by the settings you choose. The key or pad you press will determine the root note in the chord.
